Plan

There is so much to plan to ensure a successful and smooth wedding day! Efficient and accurate timelines don't just happen. There is a lot of thought, experience, and logistics that go into them. Having (most likely) never planned a wedding before, it is very unlikely you have the knowledge and whereabouts to put together the perfect vendor team and detailed timeline. The timeline is just one part of the planning process, there is lots of analyzation and discussion that goes into the setup and production of your wedding, from the stationery timeline (when do save the dates go out) to the day-of support for ensuring each of your vendors load-in at the correct time and have enough time to perform their setup before your guests arrive. L&L ensures that the whole process will be streamlined and smooth for the very special day!
Design

The design of your wedding day is so important to ensuring it is cohesive and works well within the space! The design process begins after the venue is chosen and a budget is in place, with reviewing pictures that have caught your eye. We will discuss what drew you to those images, as well as expanding upon other ideas and suggestions, considering the venue and the budget. From there, our team will work together to create some floor plans, design mockups, and organize a list of vendors to contact. We will have a clearer vision of what the day will be executed as, which will allow us to make the necessary contacts.
Execute

Now all of the planning, emails, meetings, phone calls are about to come to fruition! You will see the florals, the ceremony design, the floor plan and tablescapes all come to life! Our team will check in with you at the wedding venue to give you a quick run down and confirmation of the grand plan. You will not have to worry about a thing, but can truly enjoy your day with your new spouse, parents, family and friends!

Joanne Lee is the co-founder of L&L Events. An Arlington native, Joanne attended the University of Virginia, where she pursued studies in Studio Art and Sociology. Upon graduation, she worked for multiple corporations as an event planner for the span of 4 years. However, despite being a young, successful professional, she felt an itch for creativity and to make a bigger impact in her career. With her creativity and her passion for creating and documenting life-changing, unforgettable moments of people's lives, she decided to pursue her dreams and create L&L Events.

Here are some common questions we usually get asked
How do I pay the deposit?
The deposit can be paid by Paypal, Cashapp, Online, Cash, Check, Money Order, (or) Cashier’s Check made out to “L and L Event Productions, LLC ”. Once you decide that you want to book with Us, you can put down a deposit to reserve your event date.
How do I pay the remaining balance?
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the date of your event.
Can people request songs during an event?
Absolutely. People can request as many songs as they wish as long as it's approved by you via the contract.
Do you have back-up equipment?
Absolutely. We have a back-up system as well as a back-up DJ.
What does the banquet hall need to provide you with?
All the banquet hall needs to provide us with is an electrical outlet and a table at least 6 feet long.
How many types of lights do you have?
We have a variety of top of the line lights. We have mood lights, colored lights, uplights, dance lights, spotlights, pin lights, and laser lights.
How can I find out if you are available for my event?
Contact us by phone or email and we will check to see if we are available for your event date.
When should I book my date?
It is recommended to book with us as soon as you know your event date. We have limited availability and we book up fast.
How do I book L and L Event Productions services?
By putting down a deposit and signing a booking agreement to secure the event date.
What happens if the DJ that is booked for our event is unable to DJ because of something like a serious illness?
If this were to happen, then another DJ from our staff would handle the event. All of our DJs on staff are professionally trained to handle any type of event.
Is the deposit refundable?
No, the deposit is non-refundable unless we have to cancel your event due to fault from us.
How long does it take you to set-up and breakdown?
It takes us anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours depending on how large the set-up is for the event.
How much music do you have and will you have any song that I want available for my event? Is your music clean?
We have over 983,000 songs and counting covering all genres and ages. Music going as far back as the 20s as well as today’s newest hits. All of our music is clean and appropriate and the clean versions that you would hear on the radio. We will be able to get any song that you want for your event by downloading it off iTunes or the digital record pools that we are members of.
Do you charge to set-up and break down?
No we do not charge to Set-up and breakdown.
When will Any Event Productions contact me prior to the wedding to set-up a final meeting?
We meet on three occasions, the first meeting, will be a virtual meeting through zoom or FaceTime, the second meeting will be at the venue To go over the placement and set up rules, and our final meeting will be at a local Starbucks near you around 14 days prior to your wedding date to Finalize all details and collect your balance if not already paid.
